The alumni survey was conducted from 24 October 2025 to 06 November 2025 for the following academic programs: Business Administration, E-Commerce, Multimedia Communications, Financial Technology (FinTech), Accounting, and Marketing.
A total of 490 alumni participated in the survey, including:
- Business Administration: 112 respondents
- E-Commerce: 62 respondents
- Multimedia Communications: 98 respondents
- FinTech: 69 respondents
- Accounting: 74 respondents
- Marketing: 75 respondents
Survey results indicate that alumni employment outcomes are relatively positive, with a high proportion of graduates working in positions directly related or closely related to their field of study, ranging from approximately 80% to over 95% depending on the program.
Notably, programs such as Accounting, E-Commerce, and Marketing demonstrated particularly high rates of graduates working in relevant fields, while the FinTech program showed a comparatively higher proportion of graduates working outside their field of study. This partly reflects the interdisciplinary nature of the FinTech sector as well as the need for continued curriculum improvement to enhance professional relevance.
Regarding the usefulness of acquired knowledge and skills, most alumni provided positive evaluations, with high percentages rating the programs as “useful” or “very useful” across most disciplines. However, the FinTech program received relatively lower evaluations, suggesting the need to strengthen practical applicability, particularly the balance between finance and technology-related competencies.
With respect to curriculum evaluation criteria, the majority of alumni expressed satisfaction with program objectives, curriculum contents, and academic workload. Programs such as E-Commerce and Marketing received very high satisfaction levels, indicating that the curricula are relatively well aligned with practical and industry requirements. Nevertheless, some respondents suggested that curriculum contents should continue to be updated in accordance with emerging technology trends and practical demands.
The academic staff was identified as one of the Institute’s major strengths. Most alumni highly appreciated lecturers’ professional expertise, teaching methods, and supportive attitudes. This is considered an important factor contributing to educational quality enhancement and learner satisfaction.
Regarding facilities and support services, most respondents provided relatively positive evaluations. However, some feedback indicated the need for further improvements in classrooms, network systems, library services, and student support services. This suggests that the Institute should continue investing in infrastructure upgrades to better support learning and research activities.
Qualitative feedback from alumni also revealed several important trends. Alumni highly valued the friendly learning environment, relevant curricula, and the dedication of lecturers. In addition, recommendations focused on increasing practical training activities, expanding internship opportunities, strengthening industry collaboration, and updating curricula in line with emerging trends such as artificial intelligence and digital technologies.
Overall, the survey results indicate that PTIT’s educational quality is positively evaluated by alumni, particularly in terms of academic staff quality, curriculum relevance, and employability outcomes. However, in order to further enhance educational quality and meet the increasingly demanding requirements of the labor market, the Institute should continue improving curricula by strengthening practical orientation, updating academic contents, and enhancing learning conditions.
