1. Analysis of the 2025 Survey Results

In 2025, the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) conducted surveys to assess the satisfaction levels of students and lecturers regarding the learning environment and teaching support conditions.

The student survey was conducted during Semester I of the 2025–2026 academic year with the participation of 16,961 students.

Survey results indicate that most students positively evaluated the Institute’s learning environment and facilities. The percentage of students who reported being “satisfied” or “very satisfied” with facilities-related aspects such as classrooms, library services, and the learning environment reached approximately 70% or higher.

However, the survey results also identified several areas requiring improvement. Notably, information technology infrastructure (including Wi-Fi systems, learning software, and the LMS system) received lower satisfaction levels compared to other areas.

The lecturer survey showed similar trends. Facilities such as libraries, laboratories, and classrooms received relatively positive evaluations, while lecturers’ offices and IT infrastructure received comparatively lower satisfaction ratings.

Based on the analysis of student and lecturer survey results, PTIT identified several major facility-related issues requiring improvement, including:

  • Information technology infrastructure and Wi-Fi network systems;
  • Teaching support equipment in certain classrooms;
  • Equipment in laboratories and practical training rooms;
  • Learning and academic spaces for students;
  • Working conditions and research spaces for lecturers.

2. Facilities Improvement Plan for 2026

Based on the 2025 survey results and stakeholder feedback from students and lecturers, PTIT has developed a facilities improvement plan aimed at enhancing the quality of the teaching and learning environment in 2026.

The key improvement initiatives include:

a/ Upgrading Information Technology Infrastructure

The Institute will upgrade the campus-wide Wi-Fi network system to ensure stable access for teaching and learning activities.

At the same time, PTIT will implement a unified Learning Management System (LMS) to support digital teaching and learning activities.

b/ Standardizing Teaching Equipment

The Institute will review and standardize teaching equipment in classrooms and lecture halls, including microphones, audio systems, and projectors, in order to improve teaching effectiveness and enhance students’ learning experiences.

c/ Upgrading Laboratories and Practical Training Rooms

Several practical training rooms will be upgraded through the replacement of outdated computers and equipment, while additional facilities and equipment will be provided to support practical training requirements of academic programs.

d/ Expanding Learning and Academic Spaces

The Institute will continue developing self-study areas, group study rooms, and academic spaces to create favorable conditions for student learning, discussion, and research activities.

e/ Improving Lecturers’ Working Conditions

PTIT will review and reorganize lecturers’ working spaces while providing additional equipment to support research activities and lecture preparation.

3. Improvement Implementation Roadmap

Identified Issue Improvement Action Responsible Unit Timeline

4. Conclusion

The 2025 survey results indicate that students and lecturers are generally satisfied with the learning and working environment at PTIT. However, several areas still require further improvement.

Based on the survey analysis, the Institute has developed a facilities improvement plan for 2026 aimed at enhancing the quality of the teaching and learning environment and meeting educational development requirements in the context of digital transformation in higher education.
